Hey all
glad I've found a place for liberty likers and lovers. Bought a 97rx wagon with b4 bbs wheels. Love it.

Any one know where I can get some slim line weathershields for it? Second hand is okay? Wreckers? New? don't mind

Old cars had a lip around the roof - stopped rain getting in window. Simple. Why discontinue something that bloody works.  GRRR

Sweeeeet wagon. Gen2 wagon FTMFW!

I just bought some JDM full length slimline weather shields for mine from Import Monster. Couldnt find any here. Get yourself a oem rear spoiler also to finish it off perfectly.

Where bouts in Melb are you? Pic is around St Kilda yes?

how much you reckon for the rear spoiler? what did you pay for the weathershields?

welcome to ozlib, mine had weathershields on it when i bought it. contemplating putting them back on... nice looking rx, looks very similar to mine!

Hi,

Welcome to the forum. Clean looking auto you've got there.

Weather shields are essential. IM is a good idea, god knows what Subaru charge for them, if they even can still get them for your model.

I paid $150 and $140 for my last two gen2 wings and was lucky to get them from Oz as theyre hard to come by. (The current one will go on in the next few weeks)

Import Monster has some atm, which if you opt for sea freight and pick up from the Melb warehouse, it will be under $100 total.

I paid $130 for the weathershields from IM pickup from the warehouse.

thanks heaps for the low down. Wheres the IM Warehouse? Have signed up to the site but reckon searching on it is a bitch. Any tips? Also how long did it take to get parts here by sea?

Try using searches such as bd or bg on IM

The warehouse is in Ringwood. I use BG5 for most searches. Go to whatever you want search for, ie the weathershields. Theyre under body parts and kits, subaru, sideparts. Then in the "search this category box" type in  "BG5". Also always look in misc parts too.

Takes about 10 weeks from purchse to warehouse.

just use BG. fetches way more results for body parts.

Wicked response to my probably really obvious questions - thanks- I'm learning fast here. Alexxx what colour is your car, thinking same as mine? Mines a 97, whats yours? Reason I ask there are IM parts with the paint described as light silver metallic 406. Wondering if this Jap silver is same as ours?

Just check the color code on your build plate in your engine bay. The jap colors are the same as ours as theyre all built there wink

i'd say it would be the same. i cant remember off hand what mine is. but yes aus delivered silver 98 model.
