FS Suggestions

Hi Mickey,
As a mod, I've got a few suggestions for the FS section.

1.  Can you please split the FS section into:
- cars
- parts
- other stuff (PS2s, furniture etc)

2.  Can you can you please put up a stickey like on RSLC for car ads, that enforces a template, ie this one:

Hi,

First off Darryl, great ideas.

Second, thanks Phil mate, I was looking on GTR for that just now!

As for breaking the sections up, you'll find the plan will be shortly to create an entirely separate classifieds section. See gtrydaz.com for example.

Perhaps adding extra subforums in the meantime is viable.

   I think just a "Cars For Sale" and a "Parts For Sale" would be sufficeint atm , with the templates being applicable ...

Listing parts under a separate heading of Gen's I, II, III, IV other would help too I think.

Surely plenty of parts fit all gens though? Perhaps just making a fitments guide for each part for sale would solve this?

Which is why I said 'other' as well as the 4 Gens, perhaps an 'All' section would suit better.
Good idea about a fitment guide, but then who knows with some stuff..

As Nik said, the FS section won't be part of the forum for much longer anyway. And as Nik also said, are there really enough generation-specific parts to bother with a separate sub-section for each?

What's happening to the FS section?

No there is no reason to separate parts out into Gens as there are so interchangeable as it is.

also. mandatory pictures... its not hard to take a couple of pics even mobile phone pics are better than nothing!:ninja:

I have never been shopping blind in my life... except for that one time like 5 years ago at schoolies... buying something without seeing it is DUMB!
