i've already spoken to sunspares and they have an EZ30 for sale at about $2.4k i think...

the only problem is: the law in nsw says no engine modifications till ur on ur full licence...

i would consider replacing the engine a pretty major modification...

subaru's aren't as easy as most jdm cars to do conversions on, they can be done but it will cost you. i have helped out with a few different nissan conversions but the lines tend to still look original.

not so on the subaru's......

ok, while i am 19, i would hardly consider myself a noob... i've done reasonably sensible modifications to my car and never expected anything big from an ej22... i'm not one of those "lets put a pod on the engine and draw in hot air and expect 5kw in the process"

as i have said before, i was just asking a question. is not the purpose of a forum to ask questions, get answers, hear oppinions and the like. i for one, have found it to be rather helpful.

i don't want to swap a gen4 front on my car, i never said i did... perhaps if i better worded my question, people wouldn't feel the need to be such assholes (regashi)...

so here goes:

theoretically, and i'm not saying i want to do it (for those who like to flame), how difficult is it to replace the front panels on a gen 2 liberty with those from a later model or another subaru?

i know it can be done with nissans as i've seen silvias with skyline front ends, and i think it would be very individual to have a different front end on a gen2. and so long as it was done right, it might not even end up looking like a massive pile of sh!t (which i'm sure many of you would think it would anyway), and would make for a pretty individual show car.

i also know that anything can be done with money, and i now know that subaru panels aren't interchangable. so you don't even have to answer my question (which i've really just asked twice now)

and btw, for those that care (though i'm begining to think that apparently everyones oppinion but mine counts) if i had 19k it wouldn't be spent on a subaru, it would go straight into a r32 GTS (damn no turbos law)

Oh wait, my bad (dumbass) read the number plate, it IS the Bee R342, thats a beastly unit if i say so myself chaps...and i reckon strawberry faces (not sileighty, S13 arse, S15 face) looks very sweet, but only when they have a mild appearance, wild lebanese riveted on bodykits of URAS snowplows look awful.
