Forum slips

I think this has been brought up previously by Subarujunkie.

Why dont we make up some slips to carry around and if we see a lib that may have an owner that is interested in subi's and libs, then leave them a slip under their wiper to check out the site?

Should we have one or would it create too many hassels?

Just a suggestion what do people think? :Dntknw:

this got mentioned back in 05!

and nothing was done about it. im assuming once Ozlib gets updated and the shop is re-opened properly, then im sure these cards will be issued.

i on the other hand sometimes leave a little note on a nice liberty basically saying that my name is lance "evil_b4" from ozliberty a Subaru liberty based car forum and want know if they would be interested in visiting the site.

its not very formal, but does the job im sure.

I too have done this... If I see a particularly well looked after lib...

especially if it has some rare stuff added... legacy grill/garnish/wheels/jap spec fogs etc...

Ahhhh. The good ol spotted cards.


I've mentioned this to Rick as well. He said it will be happening. Just continue to plod around like you have. Be patient guys.

With a previous modded car I came back after leaving it parked at the shops to find a buisness card from a car forum asking to join up. It had the forum header on it and was very well done with a space for the persons name / forum name on it.

On another forum with a different modded car they made a similar buisness type card with the forum info on it.

They work well.

A good idea.

If someone did that to my lib

a) i'd be p!ssed off before i got there because i would think i had a parking ticket.

b) when i did get there i'd wouldn't be too happy about someone feeling free to put their mits on my car.

Yes i have talked about it and i have put the forums name on peoples cars not all but the ones that were great the one i use is like this
