There is a lot of cash in IP. That is their motivation.
They must be claiming design of the car belongs to FORD and use of the images for income producing purposes is an infringement of their IP rights.
An enormous heap of bollocks if you ask me.

Yep, I agree it's pathetic. They should consider it free brand building.
I knew the QLD state manager for Holden and he was a complete c0ck, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's thinking up some stupid money making sceme like that too Brendan.
