Footy?!

just wondering what the majority of people on here are more excited about? the NRL grandfinal, the AFL grandfinal or the rugby world cup?

personally im more excited about the league than the other two.. even if my mighty warriors bombed out against the cowboys..

what do you guys reckon?

Hahah you know where this is going mate. Northern states will all be NRL and southern states will be AFL. In the southern states, most dont give a stuff about the AFL because there will hardly be any Port Adelaide or Geelong supporters on this forum. I'm a geelong supporter through and through. There's 44yrs of history riding on this match so i'm pumped for it. Also want the storm to win after being jibbed last year. I dont want many matches but i try to read about it. Rugby world cup is just shyte for now, waiting for the finals. I found the woman's world cup more exciting.

haha, yea i figured pretty much everyone from melbourne would choose the AFL.. still good to have a little discussion:D whole heartedly agree with you that the RWC is absolutely s**tehouse, its the one thing were good at and i still cant be F watching it:grin:.. i too want the storm to win, i reckon they deserve after last year and besides everyone hates manly..

im not quite sure why manly are so hated, but i think they were quite succesful back in the day and nobody likes them still..

2 of the most hated teams in league are playing, and my most hated too..

I hope manly wins, only because of melbourne and the year 1999...

Either way, I wont be watching it.

nah manly arnt the most successful. they are ok but yeah it seems to be a mystery as to why a lot of people dont like them.... they arnt all that bad.
I wont be watching the game... will probably be drinking beer or sleeping or something... so post up the result big_smile

AFL here

I live in SA but am NOT a port supporter. I hope Geelong wins it as I feel they deserve it. Plus they have been without a flag for 30 odd years?!

I suspect Port may do em over. They seem to have a bit of something extra.

and Bathurst is probably the biggest gronk sports around. I stopped watching that shiz when they banned the skylines, sierras and m3's.

There is one in the competition at the moment, getting an arse whooping, sorry its not a Magna, its a "380". Its very interesting racing, there's even Peugeot's and other crap like it. And just to fire you all up, the Commodores are actually very competitive.
