First trip to the snow...

So i took my legacy to the snow for the first time last Tuesday and both the car and myself loved it!!!
Being a uni student i went on tight ass tertiary ticket tuesday and luckily it was a smashing day!!
I got a new phone last week as well, a Sony Ericsson K800, so i was able to take some pretty nice shots that i thought i would share...

The car got pretty dirty on the way up and unfortunately there was no snow in the carpark but i'm going again this tuesday and its been snowing all weekend so i'll hopefully get some better snow and gt shots then...!smile

I never been snow nor ever touched it, this friday will be me first.. Im a snow virgin..:blush2:

Sold the Subaru, replaced it with a Honda.. but all I know is Subaru's! (and Holden V8's of course):secret:

Glad to hear you had an ace time.

I too have never seen snow. Funny that, being originally from a part of the world where it snows like a mofo.

Too damn cold for snow, nice shot up on the cherry pickers..

XXB4XX - don't break a leg building your little snow man and don't fret when you get smacked in the back of your fat head with a snowball, cause it will be me throwing it :bye:

Nah not taking the B4.. Im going Thredbo, got some lodge in the snow area, Hopefully I wont damage myself too much,

and Kosti, you can throw snowballs, but I'll be throwing concrete blocks at you.

am jealous here too, but not a snow virgin like brendan
took my B4 down there couple years ago and it was great
no chains and got to drive in light snow
stayed at Ski Rider @ perisher....even got pics of the B4 covered in snow, about 2-3 inches

Cheers for the replies! I recommend that everybody try to get up to the snow sometime this season because it looks like its going to be one of the best we've had in a while...!

SOOO81 - i tried to find out where the last owner of my car got the grill from a while back, but no luck... i'm sure you will be able to find one that you can ship from Japan!

MR_B4 - Having a few inches of snow resting on my roof and bonnet would have been awesome but unfortunately i was only there for the day... i'm going back up this arvo to stay the night so hopefully it will snow over night and i can get some more nice shots..!

I'm at the snow every year without fail. Heading up again in a few weeks for 4 days.

Hanging out for it badly!

Yeah Buller is the easiest for a day trip...
But obviously if i get the chance to get away for a weekend I'll head strait to Hotham or Falls!!
It apparently snowed 48cm over the weekend at Buller so i cant wait to get amongst it tomorrow...
