After owning 2 wrx's, Ive just bought a 2002 Liberty. Both of my rexes were lightly modified, but the liberty is in another league. The list of mods is huge, but some of the basics:
2.2L stroked and forged EJ20 with cam and head work
GT35R turbo
Front mount
3" exhaust
2L surge tank
1000cc injectors
Haltech ECU 298kwatw @ 20psi
6 speed gearbox
Coilovers
Pioneer DVD/MP3

Very different car to drive than my rex. Boost doesnt come on till late, so its not as quick around town. But when boost does come on, its just astounding. It definitely feels like a bigger and heavier car, particularly around corners, so its not as agile as the old one, but so far I love it.

Not planning on doing much to it, given how much work has already gone into it. Few things I do want to do are mostly cosmetic, which are: get new door cards and rear seat with better trim (hate the stripey, old man courderoy-style cloth), get rid of the stickers, replace the wood-grain plastic stereo surround with silver, powder coat the front mount black and re-attach the spoiler.

Ill still be doing things with the rex guys (if Im not shunned!), but hopefully will meet some of you Brissy/Goldy guys on cruises etc.
