If I was as close to Hotham as you, I would be there in a flash!

But its not, so I will head to buller for day trips!

Hotham for weekends, or weeks.

no-one seems to like falls?! how come? every time i have been there the snow has been less icy than it has been at hotham...

the cool thing about falls is (well it sucks when you get there with your bags) you can ski in and ski out. the apartments are half way down the mountain. and all the home trails are awesome...! i still prefer hotham for the length of runs it offers though :victory:

hehe maybe we should see about organising a "snow cruise" for a day / weekend trip snoboarding (or skiing if you have to)

yeah was a s**t season last year (but I still spent alot on lift tickets) bought my own gear last year (rather than hirering) so getting my moneys worth out of it early lol

yeah perisher looks awesome (have seen "9's wild winter weekend) but that is a bit of a hike.

The reason I bought a suby was exactly for that reason, to goto the snow and pack a whole heap of stuff in the back (not a whole lot of room in a nissan exa for that. though it did suffice for two weekend trips for a mate and I)

lol yeah, the access trail rocks are bad.

lets all hope it's a much better season than last year.

if anyone is interested I just got an SMS from Mt Buller saying free lift tickets for friday on Bourke st and Baldy (and discounted all weekend)

(though I don't think they have heaps of snow yet.
