by B4Cruiser on 30-04-09 09:43 AM Not old age mate, just that the Brandt sucks. Mine sh1t itself awhile back so i've turned off the keypad altogether. Waiting for my rudd payment to get the it removed and install aftermarket. Then will proceed as thatsgoodsquishy suggested. |

by hdt323 on 30-04-09 08:24 PM Okay, so the consensus is the TT is not needed and can be pissed off and the Brandt alarm is a pain in the arse too. At the moment the Brandt is working fine, but will get rid of the TT. Lucky my mechanic (old school friend) is a master Subaru tuner, so will get him to sort it out for me.. |

Does the brandt need to be disconnected by Subaru, or can any electrically minded person do this, for example a car alarm installer? Good idea to leave the keypad in though, as you say, to not have a gaping hole, but more importantly as another deterrent. Cheers, Harry |

Lucky the servo wasn't busy, because then when I got back in the car, and punched in my Brant system code, the car wouldn't kick over, until about 40 seconds later. What a pain in the arse. Is this what owning a Subaru turbo is all about..
