I recently had a 3.0R go tearing past me in the M2 tunnel and I have to admit, I was looking around for a porsche. It was one of the very exhaust tones I have ever heard.
I'm not really sure what was done to it exactly - it did appear to have the dual pipe STi spec Lib's mufflers, but they may have been some other brand - but its most certainly possible to make the flat 6 sound magnificent. Please do, and please send me sound clips
