Engine Hoist Hire

  Top of Page

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if anyone knows of a place that hires engine hoists or if there is such a place? In Western Sydney if preferable - I have no idea what time of company would do it but it's either hire one or purchase one. If someone could give me any pointers it would be much appreciated!

Cheers,

Dylan.

They aren't too expensive to buy from Supacrap. Subaru engines aren't that heavy so you'll get away with the smaller one. Only a couple hundred from memory.

Alright cool. You reckon 1300KG would be enough or could i get away with even less? I know the engine + gearbox is prob gonna be around 300 or 400kg but i just don't want a little tiny pathetic number tongue

Although saying that I am not really going to get much use out of it after I use it... I guess we'll see.. I will head down there tomorrow and take a look. Probably going to be cheaper buying one over hiring it neutral

Yes I think its probably cheaper to buy one at that price. Amongst this group of guy's you'll always have someone wanting it for a weekend. Hire it for $20 to someone else and you'll have it paid for in no time.

I hired one down here from Kenards, cost about $50 for a day.

Mate there's a place on the highway in Faulconbridge that hires that sort of stuff. Don't recall the name of it though :beee:
