by allpaw4 on 04-07-09 10:23 AM Yea, one of the blokes I work with used to have a kombi with a slightly fiddled with EJ20 N/A engine - you can get adapter plates to suit the volksy boxes. He had long piping for the radiator, and also BIG wiring for the starter motor. Volt drop was huge, it always sounded like it had a half flat battery when he started it. It did go rather quick though. Passing people on the freeway with fully loaded van, and trailer with buggy and spares behind...the looks on peoples faces were priceless! |
