by hawks123 on 10-03-08 02:15 PM They should only ever be on when the headlight are also on. If headlights are off then very toolish:new_russi |

Toolish during the day unless its pouring rain, really overcast, etc, but with the addition of the headlights also. Mine are left on and they illuminate with the low beams on. Foggies and only parkers on during the day is a wank. |

by hawks123 on 10-03-08 04:02 PM I usually put my lights on on freeways any time of day and when driving away from the sun. It's much easer to spot a car with headlights on when the sun is shining in your mirror. |

by SkoobyGT on 10-03-08 04:05 PM IMO you would look like a wanker if you had them on without normal lights, especially during the day. |

There's a fine for driving around with fog/driving lights on any time other than in adverse conditions. Problem is "adverse conditions" is a bit vague really so I guess its up to whether the cop that pulls you over thinks they're adverse or not... :triniti: |

the law states australia wide... 2 lights and 2 parkers thats it fog light used in adverse weather only driving light are to be on with high beam only.... the fine for driving with fog lights or driving light is $77 dollars but adverse means raining or fog or really over cast before a storm....other wise they need to be on..... i like my lights and fogies on and i voted for it on but i personally dont have em on unless i cruise like we did on the cruise or its a dark street other wise its just my parkers and lights......buy sometimes i like to have em on as a wank factor |

by GTwagn on 11-03-08 08:35 AM I use the rule, if i am wearing glasses i will not have them on.. but like some people have said if its quite a dull day, ie overcast, raining, etc. then i'll drive with them on.. |

by Tom on 11-03-08 11:18 AM as far as i have seen, my 'driving lights' are pointed to the ground and to the sides, to give me more vision both ways.. but they dont seem to direct up into someones eyes.. |
