and there's always schmucks that couldn't resist. I have seen a Gen2 GT TT with two GFB BOVs. I don't know what's involved in putting in the second one, as it has a special role in the transitioning from the primary to the secondary turbo. It's best not to fiddle with the second one unless there are issues. |

by EvilChief on 14-08-07 07:37 AM GTR skylines run a dual BOV setup from factory, due to teh reason to be able to vent enough air, to avoid compressor surge, so yes it is quite possible. I would say if you run massive boost on a big turbo and u notice that ur current (big) BOV is no longer able to vent enough air to reduce compressor surge, it becomes a viable option, but i am sure there are still a few resources left out there to upgrade to |

I agree. But, I found that I lost throttle response when I ran no BOV. no dose for me. (for now, at least.) |

Standard TT's require boost recirculation valve on the secondary turbo. Don't mess with it. The look at www.gfb.com.au if you want an aftermarket BOV on the primary side. |

by billsy on 14-08-07 11:49 PM they run 2 as std. the one one the secondary effets the spoolup (vod) of the changeover. i blocked mine to see what it did and on a dyno it even lost power somehow.
