DIY THREAD?? Lets Start one

How about perhaps putting up a DIY thread... i will be doing an oil change soon so i can put up some pics and tips on how to do it..

Also minor mods eg removal of air box resonator etc.. i have removed all these parts but i can easily get some pics for a DIY.

Boost gauge install wouldve been a handy one for me a while back.


Its bloody easy, but still nice to see someone elses notes on the same car.


I dont have any before pics, but I can post up some tips and after shots.

here's my half-arsed attempts at DIY jobbies, not well documented 'cos I'm lazy but you get the drift..

btw, changed oils from mobil 1 full syth to motul 8100 yesterday - straight away I've noticed a difference (first time i've noticed a difference with an oil change!!).. idles smootly, accels smoothly, less noise, car feels alot more responsive - so far so good! not to mention it's 59 bux as opposed to mobil which is 75bux.

Hopefully oil usage will settle as well.  :closedeye

I use Motul 8100 as well its the best oil ever smile i wont go with anything else smile
i will do an oil change in a few weeks. so pics will be up then... also i will post pics of where to plug in the boost guage line for all u newbies smile

might also rip out the the carpet to show ppl where the ECU is located...

Anyone here done an spark plug change? i know where the spark plugs are but they look like a biatch to get to.
