If you don't have the money for a conversion how can you buy any of those other cars listed? If they're helping out then thats great, and go with the flow.

Evo sounds grand but I am not sure about taking it from GC to Syd 3 times a year.

Suppose last time went to huntervalley in the GTB along with fren in an Evo. I already find the going rough with the Blitzen and it was unbearable in his car.

The freeways between Syd and GC is quickly being updated as you would know. But for now to make that 6000kms a year more bearable I'd say the WRX with its softer suspension (unless you slam it down with uprated springs+dampers ...)

Otherwise maybe some in-cabin adjustable suspension for the Evo to make the trips easier?

dont listen to these traitors!! haha.. personally i would either go my06 WRX or STi.. not a huge evo fan, as you say cheap and crappy interiors.. i couldnt handle the drive from the GC to sydney in an rx7..
