Death penalty is getting off lightly.  They should be sent straight to jail, maximum security for life no option for parole.  Couldn't give a flying f*ck if they only get 1hour of sunlight a day or locked in a 2x2metre cell.  These f*ckers, if found to be arson, have caused so much devastation and ruined countless lives.  They need to spend the rest of their miserable lives suffering just like the families they've ruined.

In many instances there are crimes that i feel death would be the only fitting punishment for. I’ve never said otherwise.

There are definitely cases (as you mentioned) that, if we lived in a society which has the death penalty as a punishment for unspeakable crimes and that if a person was found guilty then yes, being put to death is a punishment that certainly fits the crime.

The people/persons responsible for these fires have all forfeited their right to walk and live amongst us on this earth for sure. That's not in doubt as i said in my initial post.

I was just adding that in Australia we don't have the death penalty and that i hope the sentences they receive are as tough and as severe as the full extent of our law allows.

Cutting of the hands works for me providing there is no form of pain killers or deadening prior to this taking place.

Frog march the bastards through town and let the locals have their way, then take them to the chair and flick the switch on. I mean a dog looks at some1 the wrong way and it's put down, a shark attacks some1 and it's hunted down so why can't afew human rats be put down too??

I think the death penalty for certain people is very fair especially in this case. i would happily see them burn but due to human rights and cruelty and what not that wont happen. i find the lethal injection not a fair trade for what these dead****s have done as they get off relatively easy IMO. i would much rather see them with the roughest sentence known in jail and have him named and shamed in there and see how he feels and how long he lasts. also i would mind see them get taunted and hissed in front of all the people they have hurt. whilst people think jail is a waste of tax payers money i second aekone's reply, its much better than seeing useless doleys get it.
