by B42002 on 21-09-10 12:55 PM ive seen it done and i think it looks great aslong as you dont go crazy, i personaly think one coat is perfect, just enough to give it the nice tinted look without the risk of ppl running up your arse coz they cant see your brake lights come on. any more than one coat would be megga cop bait. |

by hamish_0023 on 21-09-10 01:38 PM I wouldn't bother. Look on ebay for the Legacy rear tails as they come factory tinted. Seen fair few and looks great.

+1 That said they can actually look ok if not over done Check out Aaron's tail lights at the start of this clip. A bit dark for my tastes but some cats are down for that look... |

by XoN on 21-09-10 03:01 PM Since you've got a gen3 you have the option of finding the Legacy tinted lights - that'd be a much better idea than spraying them IMO. |

by jimmyB4 on 21-09-10 03:43 PM yer the legacy taillights do look better but would still be keen to go a bit darker...was thinking of masking the reverse lights? up when getting it sprayed so they stay clear, and the rest a tad darker then the legacy lights... |

Old people will run in to you when they can't see through your stupidly dark brake lights, and then you might as well get some Legacy ones anyway. Because yours will be broken. |
