Ok so this kind of goes out to all the boys that have done conversions, im just wondering as my car has airbags and say the front cut i get doesn't will this affect it in any way???? i understand how the airbags work with the sensors and the box behind the dash but..... is it something more with the ecu??? and with the cluster there is an airbag light on there im wondering if it's all going to effect it???? help please

I take it you are not using a legacy cut then.

You should just leave all your airbag stuff in there, and keep your dash.
And then the airbags should work just fine.

From memory the air bags don't connect to the ecu, they are a seperate loom.

As Mickey said... the airbag loom is totallly seperate from the normal loom and is surrounded by yellow tape (to differentiate it).

It is unlikely your dashboard will have an airbag light...

It does within the instrutment cluster it comes on for about 5-10sec's when i start the car, it's just there if something goes wrong it can allert you by staying on or something...

It will stay on if you have an issue with your ABS computer, you can check codes on the ABS computer also.

I would recommend leaving your dash to keep that.
