Clutch Release Bearing |

by walts on 11-12-08 08:17 AM Just wondering if anyone has replaced a "clutch release bearing" because at the moment when the car is idling it makes a squeeking sound from the clutch or gearbox and as soon as i put my foot on the clutch (even the smallest bit) it stops, does anyone know (roughly) the amount it would cost to fix this? |

The bearing is sweet fk all to replace. Around $35 from memory. You unfortunately have to remove the gearbox to do it which is around $400, unless of course you are able to do it yourself. |
