I have logged on as a guest several times and was very interested to read some of the info contained in this site, as I am doing up an older style Liberty.
And having now just registered as a new meber Ithought I would start by asking a question.

I purchased a Clarion CD Player (model PF 2046U from a 1994 Liberty Heritage ) for a Subaru Liberty Gen 1 (Series 2) I was rebuilding for my son, who recently got his license. This is the original CD player, made in Japan and designed to fit in the console in place of the plastic storage bin, immediately below the Clarion head unit, to which it plugs in.
I had it completely refurbished  by having it disassembled and cleaned, the PCB washed down, new capacitors, belts and three beam laser. Needless to say all that cost a bomb. However it looked neat in the console just below the standard Liberty GX Clarion head unit and the sound it produced was amazing.
Anyway to cut a long story short, he succedded in writing off the car, and having now replaced it with a 98 Libert RX Bilstein Edition (which I am now starting to do up) no longer need the unit as the RX has a CD player as standard.

So my question is,........What is the CD player worth and what might the besy way to sell it?

I will be interested to hear what some mebers think?
