Hi,

I bought a scoop and vents off a GC8 wrx (same as the ones in the pic)

I need to buy a couple of parts from Subaru but they won't do anything for me without a VIN. Would anyone happen to have a VIN I could use to get the parts?

i hate that system, they're entire computer system relies on you giving them a VIN so they cant do jack without it

They can, its just a PITA without one as it brings up cars, parts and numbers from every country that got that model.

Just asked a few people on car sales for the vin and engine number for a revs check...
got there in the end

Getting the VIN of your car so you get the right parts instead of people having a guess, geez what a PITA to look at 17 digits....
