Changing the way a thread is viewed

OK, someone help the newbie out please....

How the hell do I change the way I view a thread?  At the moment it shows me the most current post first, which might be great when i'm up to speed with the forum, but at the moment every thread is new to me so i have to keep going to the last page to read the first post.

I have looked EVERYWHERE and searched and I can't find sh!t.  Help!

Go to User CP.
then go to Edit options
Its down the list in a drop down box.
