Armour All WASH/WAX for general cleaning,
Meguires GOLD WAX for waxing
Meguires Leather protector for the beutiful Leather
$1 Bucket from big W
Garden hose with High Pressure Gernie
GIANT JUMBO Sponge....

My wheels are filthy all the time and i cant seem to get the black tar and other deposits off it... What sort of wheel cleaner should i use? i would need something pretty toxic to get rid of that gunk...

http://autopia.org/reviews/ for all your needs

spray on a wheel cleaner, use a brush to swirl and agitate the brake dust, and then rinse off with water

might need a few sprays of cleaner on it, once mite not be enuff

Meguiars man as  well but i think they're over-rated a bit.

Gold Class Shampoo
Lambs wool mit (the white one)
Terry towels (they're shit)
Window cleaner (over rated)
Tyre Foam (pretty good)
The pink shampoo for the wheels
Got the 3 stage stuff. I thikn its paint cleaner, carnuba wax, polish (did it by hand and it took hours but in the end its better to get a sander or something)
Quick polish (Useable but dont expect much)

Think thats about it. I've got a prob with brake dust as well and i'm reluctant to use a brush and scrath the wheels. When summer comes i've giving it a full detail to get rid of all the swirls.

I'm still using the shampoo they gave me when i bought my car. for the tyres i use the pyroil aerosol can. works pretty good. and smells of orange.

i use the meguiars carpet cleaner to clean err carpet, and silicone spray to shine the plastic/vinyl trim. armor all cracks the vinyl if you don't use it regularly.

for glass, i use a CD cleaning rag. for real stubborn marks, i'll use vinegar and water and wipe it dry with old newspaper.

i've read that the autoglym range is very very good, but you'd hope so considering what you pay for it

Another CT-18 truckwash user here, because i live on a farm with it readily available. it does a good job

meguiars polish when i can be bothered... should do it more often

and $2 tyre shine from cunnos, actually works well, and is great on old black plastic bumpers

whats good to remove brake dust from thats bloody hard to wash BBS rims? Its a bitch to get to the bit around the nuts cos you can see the build up and do nothing about it. I've tried using engine degreaser w/o any luck. Dont really want to scrub the thing unless I have to. There must be some strong sh|t out there which wont be harmful to the rims.

if brake dust is baked onto the rims, theres nothing u can do except use a brush or something similar to agitate it whilst it is socked in wheel cleaner

i think there is somethng that is like indutrial strength, but its not recommended at all as it could "burn" the finish on your rims.

Water and Kanebo synthetic chamois (no rubbing and rinse grit well prior)
Wax 3 monthly from new with Autoglym Super Gloss Protection (so easy to use)
Interior/leather; gently clean any grub off with a weak solution of Softly and water with a cotton cloth, and apply Autoglym leather cream (really nice, no shiny bits and great smell)
Tyres Meguiars Endurance Gel - lasts 6-8 weeks
Alloys; water with methylated spirits on an old nappy to remove grease.
