Buying mufflers from japanparts.com

  Top of Page

Hey, I wasn't exactly sure where to create this thread, so I put it in here (feel free to move it if you want mods). I have a couple of simple questions, but I just want to make sure!

I have a 05' Liberty GT (Manual sedan) and I want to buy the STI sports mufflers
http://www.japanparts.com/db/partslist. … 5G-036-022

1. Will these fit? I ask because I don't know about any of the JDM or Aus differences between cars or any of that.

2. Buying from japanparts. Anyone else done it? Happy with their service? How long would it take to ship?

Cheers in advance.

Nice mufflers. They should fit fine aus and jdm are usually the same.  They sometimes might vary between wagon and sedan though.

Ive bought a power fc through a similar site and there wasnt a problem, everything came as described and in about two weeks.

If your looking for mufflers also check out import monster. There was a nice set of fujitsubo mufflers and sti cannon mufflers on auction with really low bids.

+1 for Import Monster, always heaps of stuff on there like these;

* STi - http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?ur … ;title=STI

* Prova - http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?ur … amp;title=

* HKS - http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?ur … 0BLE%20HKS

* STi GeNome - http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?ur … amp;title=

I've got abit of stuff from japanparts too, they are pretty good, if you can get an intial reply within a week.... I've only bought a few smaller things and they have shown up in 3 days to my door. A few of the things thou, i've had to find the part numbers, and they couldn't be fu%^ed looking for me, but whatever they list is spot-on.

Also, if you buy anything from japanparts, say your a member of the NASIOC forums (even if you aren't) and you get 10% off.

Edit - JDM cars are basically the same as ours too, so the Import Monster or japanparts mufflers will be fine, you'll just need new gaskets.

just be careful as i herd of some one buying some sti mufflers from japan parts .com and had to pay customs and duties as they are over a thousand dollars and it end up costing more than buying from a dealership here check this  link
