Sorry to those that are affected, by such poor dealings. It truly is a sad experience. About a year ago, I bought a gearknob on ebay, (sure, its no where near the same thing...but similar principle) and apparently it got "lost in the post". It wasn't sent via registered (and insured) post, and I'm still waiting for my money back or any decent resolution. The seller was very difficult to get any decent communication and resolution from, and I had to resort to my forum'esque "charms" before I really got his attention, and reluctantly, got his piss poor attempt of "resolving" the situation. I mean, to rip someone off for $70.... I hope he sleeps well at night... Oh. He's now a member here too, who likes to trade subaru parts... After another altercation that was well publicised about a certain user over on the west coast who was peddling parts, had also getting into grief with decent people buying things from him, and not getting poor contact and resolution from him. Its simply not acceptable amongst the general public community. So why the fcuk should we tolerate it online? So there sub-human pieces of excrement can hide behind their keyboards acting all tough and brash? These little bitches can sure talk the talk, but they obviously can't walk the walk! I propose a bid to the administrators and moderators here, at Ozliberty, that we start some sort of effective user trading grading system. So we can sift through the decent people from the money hungry, scum sucking vultures. People that have had decent transactions and assistance, I believe, deserve to have their efforts displayed for all to see, so that people can be assured that they wouldn't be jacked over. On the flipside, people who do behave suspiciously, should be named and shamed. I guess the power of "word of mouth" is suffice, but only to the more seasoned members here. Its very unfortunate when I hear that n00bs get stung by these criminals and their dodgey dealings, that it ends in gnashing of teeth, and many hairs lost from undue stress. I say, bring on a trader recognition system, not unlike what ebay has with its members. |

Yes it does. The ratings are also published beside the users name on every post made. For all to see, the good and the bad. |

by FOZ13 on 21-10-07 08:25 AM I don't see it takign place prior to Christmas. We are experimenting with some new toys and hope to have a bug free solution in the new year. This is not a small upgrade mind you, we are talking about a completely new site layout and the way we store/ distrbiute information. |

Itrader ratings are more than likely part of the upgrade, Given Rick has his time cut out for him getting the GTrydaz site debugged and completed it is like asking how long is a piece of string. Patience is a virtue, expecially when upgrading forums is on the agenda.
