Yea, go figure. That C class looks awsome IMHO. My brother in law has a SL55 Brabus. Goes like stink. I hope he can outrun the cops in it because he's going to need to, but that's a whole other story. |

by Soop on 03-03-08 06:26 PM I think he liked the Monaro, because it doesn't any electronic interference. Such as traction control, which apparently is were the C Class is let down. All that power, but the computer wont let it get to the ground. |

by fatcat67 on 03-03-08 07:16 PM Mate I can't afford either of them, but IMHO the Brabus looks classy and really aggressive and has managed to combine them both so they don't date. Holdens date quickly.

I think the main reason they canned it is because of its absolutely ridiculous torque figures, which they had to electronically limit, and then prevent people from turning the TCS off to stop everyone dieing... I'd have one. When can go that fast, who needs corners? Just keep driving, you'll get there in the end

From memory, it wasn't the C-Class they tested. Pretty sure it was the SL65 Brabus varient. They canned it purely because it couldn't handle all the (to quote Clarkson) POWAAAHHHH.... He went on to say something along the lines that Mercedes spend millions of dollars to ensure that they make a flippin good car and that the Brabus varient, although potent was a waste of what was a good AMG SL65. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9V4otK9nqZ0 Now... don't know about you fellas, but I reckon that I'd have a Brabus or an AMG any day!! They are both awesome. |
