Blitzen and Revision D

  Top of Page

Revision D
The fourth revision of the third-generation Legacy made several important but subtle changes to the front of the car. The fenders, grille and headlights were altered slightly, making interchangeability difficult. The headlights in the Japanese market were of the HID variety, and were slightly smaller, while the grille also shrank slightly. The revision D model was never produced in North America.

Blitzen
The Blitzen model was the result of a collaboration with Porsche, and featured many unique parts and paint schemes. The wheels, body kit and interior were all designed by Porsche. It also featured an implementation of the Porsche Tiptronic automatic gearbox, the first use of sequential-shifting on a production Subaru model.

A wagon version was made available in 2001 with the EZ30 engine.

The model was refreshed in 2002 with an updated design.

Well sadly your all wrong

My model stamp plate in the engine bay is a "E"

Any parts that come for the D version will not be the same, the classic example was my CAI system made for the B4 and was a version D, this did not work/fit, unless addition parts and modding was required.

So to cut a long story short! The ADM release of the B4 in the O3 model that I've seen is NOT a D at all but an E.

Sadly E is not listed anywhere in the Subie parts world or any STi parts book catalogue.

Seems the 2003 model is a Hybrid
