Hey guys!

Alot of you may know me from RSLC, my old car was a Gen1 wagon conversion which went pretty well until i decided to sell it and it went "hey go to hell your not selling me" , decided to waste the clutch then shortly after i threw a ring landing. So, luckily for me i found this gem a few weeks before!

Car is a genuine 1997 Legacy GTB, previous owner tried to tell me it was a conversion he did over a year, upon closer inspection after the sale (doh!) we found the fire wall had been picked out and replaced with a AUDM firewall and resprayed to make the car registerable, not to mention compliance plates are on the wrong side. Anyway, had no problems insuring it ect so no problems yet. Car was rebuilt by MRT by the previous owner, havent found anything dodgy yet but car had the bottom end rebuilt with Arias forged pistons and all that goodness so i got me a nice strong motor which should last me a while! So far ive just added a JustJap intercooler and SSQV copy which works a charm, havent done a good service since ive had it but so far i have changed the sparks plugs which was a massive improvement, when i first got it there was a massive shudder on changeover and the faulty knock sensor was to blame for pulling all my timing. Now 1 dodgy thing MRT did was put the knock sensor back with a allen key style hex bolt, of course the damn thing wouldnt come off and was stripped so it was impossible to remove. Luckily i found a suitable spot to put the new sensor so that gave me alot of performace back, holy **** did i nearly wet myself when it pulled like it should have been! Another problem i fixed up while doing spark plugs was those damn leaking cam cover seals, every Subaru ive had has done this (shakes fist at Subaru)! Overall im pretty happy with my purchase, the body is near immaculate bar a few nicks on the front bar and the old grille had seen better days so i found a PROVA style one and popped it on. Interior is pretty schmick, old vinyl gearboot was on its way out so got me a proper one made up ( real cow ), bought it off ebay and was very pleased with results, to compliment that got me one of those MY08 gear knobs on ebay recently too. Future mods are a set of Gen3 GTB turbos vf25/27 which are on the way, few interior enhancements and a bit more boost. Im happy with how it is stock so im not after too many jiggawatts! Needs a bit of a lowering, and after that a nice set of black rims with a polished lip, win! Anyway heres some pics!
