1) Learn to post in the correct section, I do not see how this is a topic that is relevant to site discussion. 2) Learn to use the search button. People have discussed rebuilds versus halfcuts many times before. 3) How much did they quote you on a rebuild? You need to think about this, you can have your engine rebuild and have a 0 K's engine (run in required) or you can try to source a replacement AUDM B4 engine (waste of time) or look to buy a JDM B4 halfcut and transfer the engine and gearbox + rear diff + ecu in to the car (wiring loom may need to be changed but not 100% sure on that). Of course with a halfcut it will already be run in, you will not be 100% aware of the history of it either. If you rebuild, as above you get a 0K's engine, and now is the perfect time to do internal upgrades if you're chasing higher power in the future. |
