Bi-Xenon headlights too bright

  Top of Page

Wondering what should do. Got a 09 gtb liberty which has Bi-Xenon headlights and i keep getting high beamed cos they are so #@$%ing bright. They are angled down quite low, so much so that hills driving is compromised due to the low angle of the headlight. What can i do other than knocking out the next idiot that high beams me cos they think i have the high beam on.

Like your style hamish.I have been high beaming them back like you said, just to show them what high beams actually look like. Probably catch you on the feb cruise.

I have heard that brand new cars headlights are always brighter at first then they settle down. DOnt know if its true or not.

yeah they get bluer and less bright as they age - but are still bright.

you could adjust the horizontal aim of the lights so their is less chance of them being in the raised part of the cut off? so aim the lights to the left

(as your lights prob look the opposite of this)

on long sweeping left bends i'd find that was when i was most likely to piss off oncoming drivers as they would be within the area of the light designed to light up street signs etc
