Try the remote on the key..  if you can't hear the fuel pump it's possibly still partially immobilised?  Did it to me recently..  (after keying code and getting no pump noise) I took keys out, pushed unlock button again  and the siren went off for a second.. weird.. then back to normal operation..  key in, code in, pump started...

Check fuses too of course and I suppose there's a chance your pump might be fuggo'ed but doesn't seem likely?

Can you hear the fuel pump prime? It's the little buzzing noise you hear after the code is entered, usually in time with the ABS light on the dash before turning the key.

I've noticed in the cold/wet weather mine has taken one or two more kicks to start.

Nik

Progressively worsening is not a good sign...

Haha, if I learned how to read, it would save us all some time.

The first thing to check is obviously the fuel pump. Give her a tap with a screwy then have another bash.

To take a stab at things, I'd say it's either your fuel pump or your battery.

The reason why I say your battery is because the Brant Alarm will not let the car start if there is enough voltage in the battery. The system is very sensitive to voltage changes.

I believe with too low of a voltage, it disables the fuel pump if I'm correct. Don't quote me on this one, but if it's true... it probably explains why you can't hear the fuel pump priming.

Or just use a multimeter? Hope its not the Brant fugging up but then if it does, at least you can rip the pos out.

I think its the battery also as i was having very similar issues with mine.  Changed battery, master code in and all is sweet.  For now......
