ive also noticed this, but its only the paint on the bumpers. when my car hit from the back the rear bar basically cracked all the way around.

Alot of panel shops told me they wouldn't roll my guards, cos the Subaru paint is almost guaranteed to crack, and they do not want to be responsible for a poor result.

Pretty dodgy for a brand with a "good quality" reputation.
