It all depends on your mods. Other members with a full exhaust have got around the 180kw atw mark. Ive been to Springy Motors and they seem to get a heap of Subaru's going through there. Another one would be HPF, but have never been there, just head good things. |

by b_hind_u on 25-12-11 09:25 AM The tune that comes on Japan delivered vehicles? I've been in a Aus delivered B4 and VOD is quite noticable compared to my car. |

Well done, whats the VOD like? I think you are brave to go with the mail order ECU to tell you the truth. If it were me, I would rather head into a shop to get some sort of custom tune. Why did they tune it for 95? I thought B4s could only take 98 anyway? |

I bought a secondhand unit $200 then took it to them to get it licenced and tune sets $385 that they already have the tune set is as follows base/stock = stock valet = detunes car(granny style) antitheft = car wont start 95oct 14psi 98oct 14psi yes stock b4 can only run 98 but this tune has been made so you can run 95 so with the tune not being spot on for my car (which could be fix if i were to put factory air box back on) i am runing it on 95 tune with 98 fuel And at a later stage it will be going for a proper tune where it will go on dyno and they will tweak the maps i have now Chiptorque want $350 an hour and probibly 3hrs to do it so the hunt begins for a tuner that doesnt want $1000 just to iron it out VOD whats that lol I didnt have it before or after I dont know why(maybe big exhaust, CAI) |

Subaru did this to get around the fact that their stock tune is a piece of shit. The chances of pinging with 98 is much lower than with 91/95. You can run whatever fuel you want as long as the ECU is tuned with that fuel in mind. |

Really?? I'm sure you jumped in the car when i took that other young guy (who drive the white Gen2 wagon then converted?) You would likely feel VOD in a stock (OZ) TT, moreso in an auto and its much easier to tune it outin the manual variant. Test it if still unsure if you have it. Floor it off the line, bang to 2nd at 3500-4000rpm and see if your head hits the windscreen for a second or so. Good to see you happy with the tune mate. |

by Ganguskarn on 09-01-12 05:49 AM Chip torque makes a good product. unsure about an auto and a exhaust , the drone would be insane! i removed my VOD completely best thing i ever did |
