B4 Dyno from 156 to 172atw

  Top of Page

Hi All,

Just thought i would post this.

Mods are 3" Turbo back HiTech exhaust and unichip ... 156 was when the unichip was first installed and 172 is after the retune and fix.

Was having an issue with no boost on the 2nd turbo as shown in the Dyno.  took it in to be looked at and found a melted cat converter in one of the dump pipes.  They fixed it and retuned it ... loving every minute now ...

PS the new tuning is much smoother than the first .. CnJ def know their B4's and unichips ...

Was the car originally stock? How much did the unichip set you back?

Hi. Nice result you got there. Did you get both done at the same place. I can see that they are different names but wasn't sure if they changed names or not.

Thanks guys.  Very happy again ....

The original dyno when the car was stock was 110atw.

Original tune was done in Sydney just after the exhaust and unichip were installed.  Set me back $1600 for the unichip and that is the dyno showing 156.

The retune was done here in Qld last week ...

I only removed my rego details from the dyno charts so workshop names are correct.

Boy, that looks like Bill's signature on the second chart.
Yes they do know how to tune. They have tuned my Autronic, and the car is running great.
I'm glad your happy, they do great work. One thing though, they love to dyno in 3rd in shootout which looks like a big power output, but most other places will do it in 4th. So in effect take roughly 10kw's off as a more comparative reading with other readings done in 4th.
BTW was yours the white one I saw out the front while mine was in getting my exhaust done? That was the 2 days before the Easter Weekend.

Fatcat thanks for the tip on 3rd gear ... i thought such a gain was quite high for just a re-tune  .. i dont know what gear the first was done it but by the kmph i can pretty much gather its prob in 4th as you suggested.... still happy with around 160 ... sure is a lot smoother than before and using less fuel !!! ... yes bill tuned it ..

No mine is black ....

Pacman .... I might be wrong but i think the N on the first chart was for torque ... anyone ???

I think they are charging around $1800 for the Unichip and tune.
Great result by the look at chart.
