by b4bullet on 06-02-07 08:03 PM The other day my battery ran flat( left the key on acc. or something. After i'd charged it and put it back in i noticed my alarm doesn't work. I'd driven the car about 3 times then i manually put my code in and the interior alarm starting going off and the car wouldn't start. Now every time i touch the pad it goes off.

by theprotest on 27-03-07 02:33 PM I have a key that's never been used, and my normal key - neither of them remote open the car. If you open with the key, the alarm goes off, but you do not have the option of entering the code to the brandt.

by theprotest on 28-03-07 12:50 PM I have been thinking about doing that for a while now. It has caused me so much grief in the last three weeks it's not funny - I can't even steal my own fvcking car!

by SUB4RU on 28-03-07 01:30 PM i didnt swap to anything, considered a viper alarm tho. Figured without the key, a B4 is unstealable cos of the immobiliser in the key. |

by theprotest on 28-03-07 01:35 PM Nice one. I didn't realise that the key would still remote lock/unlock after the keypad is removed.
