yeh, the 4wd donuts that rexies do are famous. just find some grass or loose gravel (but watch your paint). then drop the clutch at what ever high rpm you want and turn the wheel to the desired location.

well thats what i did 5min ago :beach:

MILKMAN- how much room did you need?

i know im up for it, but i fear for my drivetrain too much to attempt dry tarmac.

glad to hear you all play it safe and keep it off the street. if you want to do some hardcore donuts/slides, get some falken ZE326 tyres. no grip whatsoever. just watch out for concrete barriers.

I've attempted them on a claypan before, but it didnt seem to do that much. still fun, but not what i was expecting...its a little tighter than full lock turning normally and a bit quicker, but then it was a hard surface, and near new sticky toyo's probably didnt help...i just came to the conclusion that i need more power:)

wet long grass. i drove of it with no mud at all. (well a little in the wheel arches)

its kinda hard with an N/A but so long as i keep the front from gripping the back never will.  feels kinda like sitting in a run away shopping trolley.:victory:

Re: AWD doughnuts

B4 does them pretty easily on gravel.. and with a bit of a pushing it will do them on asphalt without being too harsh on the drive line.

my trick to do it on roads is to take of turning a tight ish corner (not quite full lock) reasonably quickly but not dropping clutch usually just squealing the tires not properly spinning them. Then once the car has loaded up the outside tires.. come completely off the throttle for about half a second .. car will start to slide around the front end. Then slam the throttle back down .. and most of the time it will spin just about on the spot and can keep doing that.

Need alot of room to practice this though because sometimes it just goes into a big wide circle.

Re: AWD doughnuts

done it on all sorts of loose surface in my gen2..

most fun was on the gravel..

came onto gravel doin about 50kays in second then just full right lock and the car slid and kept turning in a circle, foot too the floor, wheels spinning and a column of dust to fill the air filter with...

was teh funness.. untill my mate ran his car into the bush...
