theres actually already two top gears theres the bbc one and america has there own as well which is called fifth gear but no were as good as the original on bbc so if the oz one gos ahead we will have three ahaha should be interesting

Reece, 5gear is half a peg under top gear. Top gear is just sooo damn funny, and they drive the arse of the cars they get.

The only way it could be ok, would be if it had the independance to tell it like it is.
As long as they can review a car and say just how sh!t it is or it isn't then, people will watch.

All the other shows had to talk up the cars they reviewed or they wouldn't get anymore cars from the manufacturers to test drive on the show.

And if they can show the cars being driven FAST and in stoopid ways (drifting, on two wheels, on fire), then it'll be good, but if the safety cats intervene and sanitise the show, it'll last 3 episodes max.

Also - They shouldn't have another Stig, they should call our driver The Wombat.

Fifth Gear isn't a bad show, I mean Tiff and Jason Plato (spelling?) both come from a racing background so they understand how cars should and shouldnt drive which is good, dunno about Clarkson's background but he's just an old (funny) whinger...

I guess that's half the attraction to Top Gear though, the cars and the bickering between hosts.

I dont car what anyone says but Top Gear is the BEST show ever!!! As can be seen with Fifth Gear (Terrible show) is a copy of TG and that is why it doesnt have the same appeal to everyone.

As a few people have said about Test drive and the car show, they are alright (just) but they keep reviewing cars that someone we know owns. eg ford/holdens/lancers all the standard junk that we see on the road everyday (Maybe some dont see them every day but more often than not).

Again the Clarkson/Hammond/May Combo cannot be beaten. And if we do end up having a oz TG it will fail so badly that we will be ashamed and it will fall into the class of test drive and the car show.
