i dont understand?
you want a verry profesional panel beater to go off the books and do a cash job, if your looking for dead straight panel repairs you'd be better off going to a hot rod shop and having it done properly, you honestly get what you pay for in this industry unless you know people.
by verry professional id asume you mean heat shrink, panel file and lead wipe, with no body filler?
its not worth doing on newer cars because after they are finished you will have a panel about as thick as a coke can:) also the car can be almost replaced for the same price.

If you don't understand, then don't post.

Oh. And don't assume.

i know asumption is the mother of all ****ups,
my point was more towards the fact that you cant expect quality from a cash job.
also smash repair and verry proffesional dont tend to go hand in hand.

just saying cash job=get what you pay for

Blaeven untill you know stfu.

A cash job will only be as good as the painter.
The only difference is he'll say "Yeah i can do it for $X"  and then use what ever is the cheapest sh!t he can find in order to do it for that price.

You are NEVER going to find someone that will do something for nothing.
There is a reason people charge the prices they do, its not just to be a c*nt. There is seriously F*CK all profit margin in this industry.

So either pay for a good job, or pay for an average job and be happy.

I thought a CASH JOB meant that the client uses Cash to pay for it.

Cash is defined as:

cash [kash]   –noun 1. money in the form of coins or banknotes, esp. that issued by a government.

So I am not sure if people are interpretting the request incorrectly.
Cash job does not always imply Cheap Job.

cash job in like 90% of trades means a tradie dealing direct with the customer off the books avoiding tax and other costs associated with buisnesses.
I was talking to a spray painter that is getting an old holden prepped for black, he is still looking to spend no less than 8K and that is a cash job! thats with good materials and a full bog coat! so still expensive no matter how you look at it.
