well my brother has a Honda Civic, with a carbon fibre bonnet and all.. haahahah, I absolutely burn him every day about it, its a 96 model, but it has the 2000 model Type-R engine in it with a V-tec controller full exhaust etc.. and it will pretty much absolutely destroy all you N/A liberty's..

The B4 was no match though, I embarrassed him easily.

i reckon there no match for turbos unless maybe spending ALOT under the hood 1st

I don't think the civics rev to 9 grand, so it would have to be different.

I used to have a Honda Euro, a few of my mates also have Honda Civics etc.. unless there's been serious work under the hood eg turbo, none of them will get the best of a wrx or a liberty gt.

In the wet my mate just gave up when i pulled up next to him at the lights xD

However, taking into consideration of the S2000, in a straightline it won't win, it will catch up and make up for it in the turns tho with the handling.. it will be interesting to see what the new generation S2000 will be capable of due in the next year or so, it's been fitted with the new Civic Type-R engine, and will be a smaller lighter roadster to compete against the Mazda MX-5

I haven't had much problems with prelude vti-r's on the road either or the integra vti-r and type-r's, even the integra type-s

the vtec hondas are just a bit more rev happy then a normal gli..

I laugh if i see a civic cxi give it a go.. lol
