Amount of subies in NZ!

  Top of Page

Just came back from over in NZ... Holy Bejesus they have a massive amount of Subies over there! I reckon every 4th or 5th car is one. South island that is. Just about all are the odd models we don't see over here as well. A LOT of turbo'd ones, and also a lot of wagons too. If only we had access to cars like they do over there. Amazing what happens when the government doesn't have to try and protect its own industry...
They also seem to like Cryslers over there too...

Just an interesting observation...

Ben

yeah it's crazy eh ben! queenstown is like a place where old gt-b's go to die a slow, dirt covered death lol. it's funny seeing a 60 yo lady driving a GT-B E-tune with rims and a cannon down the street. they're f**ken everywhere!!

I was over there a few weeks ago Ben and i noticed the same thing. I may have even taken photos of as many as i could.
Something i noticed as well though - they really dont look after their cars. All cars, even the subys are in terrible condition sad

I was in queenstown end of july and 1 night (well morning) coming home from the pub count 11 subbies out of 16 cars in the street.
