OMFG, yeah my dad said the same thing about 2 weeks ago, he was adding huge horsepower to his b4 with advanced tuning subaru floormats and he noticed the mcintosh 6 disk cd changer/amplifier unit under the passanger seat. that car is just full of surprises. Ps, saw your new b4 in that thread the other day, its a nice one i must say. 02 or 03? Hopefully ozlib moderators get their sh!t together and organise a huge meetup/cruise or trackday for NSW member (hin hint**xxB4xx**)

Yeah i didn't know i had one in my Gen II either until i was fcking around under the seat and found it. Mine was a Clarion but obviously that's coz the deck was Clarion too...

Put straight on Ebay = $60

yeah i ddnt think it wud be stock either bcoz everything alse is mcintosh...
i had another look  under my drivers seat n found a 4 channel mcintosh amp aswell... thats prob stock though, am i right???

For the noobs.

The Macintosh amp is standard in the B4, it's part of the whole "uber" sound system the B4's got.

The Clarion 6 stacker was an upgrade option, there's no Macintosh 6 stacker, they just got a Clarion one.

FWIW I missed out on the 6 stacker in my car as the original owner didn't tick that box.

Holy crap! I just found a Clarion 6 disc stacker under my front seat too!!!

i have one too... *shrug*

i just figured it was a factory option...

though i find it weird that my GX didn't have alloys, but has a cd stacker...

i have to say though... it was a bit of a shock when i dropped something under there and discovered it...

then my sister proceeded to put in a cd incorrectly and get it jammed... had to pull it apart and fix it...

scored some CDs though, cos she felt heaps guilty...

clubbers guide 08... not really my style... but free *shrug*
