hey all,
I own a 1999 gx liberty and i have done a few modifications to the exhaust to try and give it that nice boxer rumble burble and I have sort of achieved it but it sounds weird and different to other subies.
i have installed unequal length borla replica headers, removed resonators on the stock piping and had a cannon put on the end (p plater on a budget)
it sounds pretty loud and has that beastly burble but still dosen't have that typical subie sound.
has a deep sound but a funny sounding deep sound? but i dont know..
can anyone suggest anything I can do to make it sound better?
i was thinking maybe getting a 2.25" catback through to a small oval muffler but i don't know if it will be worth it as it might sound similar to what it does now..
any suggestions are welcomed,
