97 liberty black strip

hey guys, i have a black strip under the doors on my liberty and i was wondering if i could take it off and how to do it.


Also if it will leave some stupid looking **** under the door.
any ideas or input from someone who has done it would be appreciated.

You mean the black mould running through your doors in that pic?

If so, no you cant remove it, only colorcode it.

get them sprayed with the mirrors, i paid $220 and they did a good job

Yeh. Theres alot of holes for the clips behind those side moulds, not like a fal**** or crappydore just stuck on.

Are the body protector strips made of a high density rubber? Ie: once they have been sprayed is it easy to crack the paint when re-fitting to the doors?

You wouldnt remove them to spray them, and even if you did, theres no reason to bend them when refitting.

It is a number on my list but is rather low at the moment. It would make the car look less grandma.
