i would say its a hard shift into 2nd, no noise... i no the car is an import and and everything on the car looks original 2 me including badges which say liberty awd turbo, so im not saying your wrong but there might of been some autos made =]... i purchased the car off a guy who was about 50 and didnt know much about the car so im guessing he didnt touch a thing...

the hard shift is made when not driving it hard so im not sure, any ideas?...

just out of interest what was the problem?? transmission mount???

could not find the problem with the gearbox so ended up replacing it and putting a 90model in which is running fine now =]...

im looking at a 04 xt forester as i need more room for when i am training my clients as im a personal trainer...
