5W 30 oil

Hi there Guy's

I am using Castrol Edge sport 5w 30 fully synthetic in my GT, is this a good oil for the 2 litre turbo??

What does your manual book say? And which GEN are you talking about? BL5/BP5 I presume?

I'm not 100% sure with yours but I usually run 5W-30W oil only in winter.
For all other seasons, it's always been 10W-40W. Hope this helps smile

check your manual mate, it should have a few options of different oil grades depending on the temperature range you drive in. I change my oil depending on summer or winter to best fit their recomendation

I'm running 5W-30 in the B4 atm (cause its winter) its good for cold starts,
Just make sure you change it over in the warmer months...
