by Ganguskarn on 10-10-11 04:27 PM nah the brandt is stand alone mate , just remember the macintosh use's an amp for the speaker outs, and the speakers are 8ohm bad boys not 4ohm like standard speakers , to use the standard amp with a new deck you would have to work out which wires are the preouts and solder on rca's ends plus work out which is the remote on from the deck to the amp. other than that , u will have to hack the lot out:( |

lol, sounds like my rev limiter! Can you post them up on the forum, I need to install an aftermarket stereo at somestage as mine still has the JDM unit which cant pick up radio stations. |

by Shadoxity on 21-02-12 08:05 AM Its pretty easy to hook it up when you have the wiring diagram. Cause all you need to really do is connect power/ground/acc to the new unit, and then cut the speaker wires and solder to some RCA cables (which works perfectly fyi) and then plug those into the new stereo.
