Hi guys (and girls)

Just bought my first Sub today. What a car!! Fantastic ride ,great performance and well appointed. Should have bought one years ago.

Is there anything I should look out for?? I notice the clutch dosnt always return fully but still works OK and there is no evidence of cam belt being changed yet. Otherwise all seems OK.

Any comments will be appreciated

that be a single cam 2.5 job what kms? you know a mechanic?..throw a timing belt on pretty easy?! my brother has 01 model wagon...sweeeeet ride.... bog stock but lowered ..nice choice ...just do a good air filter jobby..free flowing back muffla( or  turbo.conversion,,nudge)

Single cam. Car is stock at the moment but will take your advice and fit a decent air filter and exhaust to start with.

Are the head gasket issues related to all 2.5 motors or only the double overhead cam?? All seems OK at the moment I just need to get the cam belt done.
