Hi, I have a 92gx liberty wagon, 2.2 motor, 5 speed gearbox, pump up suspension, LOVE MY CAR. WOULD HAVE ANOTHER IF I HAD THE MONEY.
Have joined this forum as we are planning to get a half cut and replace gear box and engine some time soon, My sons have done many a conversion on nissans and toyotas so they think they can tackle this as well.
Am just going to keep driving until the gear box wont let me.
Have got verbal quote to repair gearbox and they want $2000  and my motor is on 300,000km so half cut is what we looking at . am not prepared to trade car in as not worth much and we have spent $5000 on suspension in the last few years so would like to get some value out of it.  As you can proberly tell I am a woman as I talk a lot.  am very interested in anyone who has done conversion of subaru before with any pics and knowledge they have.  Sons want to put the turbo motor in it so we will see.
Looking forward to hearing from you all. I am not a stupid woman I do understand a fair bit about my car.
